Born in Haifa, Israel in 1980, Oren studied music from an early age, playing the accordion as his main instrument at the local conservatory in his hometown, Kiryat Haim. 

Following further dance and art education at the "Reut Jounior High School Haifa" and later at "Wizo High School of the Arts" Dance Department, he graduated with honours in 1998.


Additionally, Oren has an education in classical ballet, R.A.D, from the "Haifa Ballet Studio" with Liora Bing Heideker. 


Oren has been awarded the "Sharet Foundation America Israel"scholarships.

After graduation he joined the I.D.F. as "Excellent dancer" and trainee at the "Bat Dor"dance company Tel Aviv,Israel.


 A year later he has joined  the " Bat Dor "company for 4 years, where he experienced a wide range of repertory from neo-classical, modern, and contemporary pieces by  choreographers such as Hans van Mannen, Nils Christie, Ido Tadmor, Tamir Ginz, Luciano Kenito, Igal Perry, Lior Lev  if to name a few.

In 2006 he moved to Berlin and since then he has worked on different projects and with companies such as Nürnberg Staatstheater, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Zeynep Tanbay Dance Project Istanbul, Cyprus National Theater, Israeli Opera Tel Aviv, Ballett Magdeburg, Ismael Ivo,“In vitro” Musiktheater Antwerpen , Christian Spuck, Tamas Moritz and more.

As a choreographer, Oren has presented his work at La biennale Di Venezia“ TheMarathon of unexpected” in 2012, Barnes Crossing festival Köln , Maxim Gorki Schauspiel studio Berlin, Tischlerei in Deutsche Oper Berlin , PassionRed collective Austria ,ID festivals  at Radial System and the Luxembourg Philharmonie .


Additionally to his teaching and creating he is completing a Master degree at the Palucca university of dance ,Dresden.
